The Seven Dangers In Heterohypnosis

Hetrohypnosis is simply the action of any human hypnotist practicing their skills on another person.

Have you ever wondered why people volunteer to be hypnotized for a stage performance?   We know that there is always at least one "plant" in the audience who is on the payroll of the performer, but why do the other people volunteer?   Depending on the person and his or her ability to develop deep trance, any hypnosis can make significant and lasting changes.   It is amazing that some people will hand such great power and responsibility to a performer who usually abuses the trust.

Several years ago I witnessed such a performance wherein an 18 year old girl was hypnotized and then laid across two chairs supporting only her shoulders and feet.   The 260 pound hypnotist proceeded to stand on a board placed upon her stomach!   Besides the physical damage done to her spinal column, this unfortunate woman is going through life thinking she is related to chickens!   The stage hypnotist never removes the "suggestions" he plants in the volunteer's subconscious.

As an audience member most of us go to these demonstrations to be entertained by people doing foolish things such as walking and squawking like a chicken.   On the other hand, a stage hypnotist is out to gather as large an audience as possible and will do whatever he thinks the law will allow.

DANGER # 1: Handing the power of Hypnosis over to an untrustworthy individual.

Like anything in our experience, hypnotism can be used as a toy, a tool or a weapon.   A leg of lamb, well frozen can be used to bludgeon someone as was the case in an Alfred Hitchcock film.   The perpetrator later roasted the lamb and served it to the detective who were looking for the murder weapon!

Our next Danger involves a predisposition to failure and is included in the booklet that will come with your books, pendulum and other valuable items.   (See: the Low-Cost Introductory Pack.)
