An interesting and diverse combination of talents from two men
have merged to produce the MyHypnotist concept.
An American and an Australian, a professional hypnotist and a
programmer, a poet and an engineer, a physicist and a musician –
Patrick Williams and Mark Thomas have joined forces in producing
a truly innovative and beneficial product, a joint dream held by
each of these inventors for many years.
Patrick Williams .....
As a boy growing up in middle class, suburban America, Williams
absorbed every science fiction movie and book available. The
fiction of those 1950's movies and books rapidly became the reality
of the latter part of the 20th century. In more than one
fiction tale there appeared a device for rapid assimilation of
knowledge or the ability to vividly recall the past... almost
reliving it. We are, today, one step closer to that as a
reality.
A devout Christian, Williams has looked for ways to help others
through the gifts he was given. "For those to whom much was
given, much will be expected", was and is today a hallmark for
the goals he chooses.
Upon completing a BS in Physics, Williams began the pursuit of an
MS in Psychology. "Having learned how things worked,
I wanted to know how people work.", said Williams.
Engulfed by the appetite of the computer industry Williams started
working for IBM in Cincinnati, Ohio, and eventually worked for EDS
and Computer Sciences Corporation. Exploring the potential
for artificial intelligence, Williams soon discovered that the
computer works best as a cyborg or slave to the human mind.
It was a logical extension of education and interests that finally
precipitated work on the MyHypnotist product.
Mark Thomas .....
... at the age of 6 in a town in the far north of NSW Australia,
declared to his parents: "I'm going to be an inventor when I
grow up". From a very early age he held a fascination
for how things worked, and built contraptions which made life
simpler and were novel in their ingenuity.
In the last year of primary school (aged 11), he had his first
encounter with a computer, wrote a simple computer program – and
was instantly hooked. Computers and software kept him
spellbound for the remainder of his school years and into
University – studying Computer Engineering.
With a keen interest in electronics, he also designed and built
many electronic systems – for use in musical instruments and
effects, sound reinforcement equipment and computer peripherals. &nsbp;
He also studied a variety of computer programming languages and
landed his first computer programming job at the age of 20.
With over 17 years now spent in the software development and
business systems analysis industry, Mark became a specialist in
database systems, problem solving and designing and building
systems to solve real-world business needs.
Mark has always been intrigued by the human mind and how we can
better ourselves through focusing on what we really want, then
going for it. Having read dozens of books and practiced the
techniques on self actualization and development over the years, he
is committed to developing computerized systems which assist in
this development, making these mind-powering techniques available
to everyone.
Patrick and Mark first met in 1993 on another computer systems
project, then joined forces in 2001, setting up a formal business
partnership to develop their own ideas further in a synergistic
way. The combination has proved to be very successful and
their various talents, skills, experience and personality,
complement each other perfectly. This partnership has led
to the development and marketing of the MyHypnotist product and
will continue as they develop more cutting edge products designed
to improve the lives of everyone who uses them.
